In the interests of public safety, it will be necessary for Oxfordshire County Council to close the road and impose a ‘No Waiting’ restriction as detailed above to facilitate lining works following carriageway surface dressing

TRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, that the Oxfordshire County Council

TEMPORARILY PROHIBITS THE USE OF AND WAITING ON THE HIGHWAY BY ALL MOTOR VEHICLES

LOCATION: Nettlebed, A4130 Nettlebed to Crowmarsh (Junction with A4074 to junction with B481)

REASON: To facilitate lining works following carriageway surface dressing

DURATION: Starting on 18 June 2026
The completion date is 20 June 2026 (date included). This will operate between 19:30 and 06:00 (Traffic Regulation Notices cover a maximum of 5 consecutive days.)

ACCESS: limited access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for frontages within the closed section of road, subject to the progress of the works. Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians. Access will be maintained for buses.

The “No Waiting” restriction means that wherever there are in place yellow “No Waiting” cones, you will not be able to park vehicles on the highway.

SUGGESTED ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: via A4074 – B4009 – B480 – B481 and vice versa
