TTRO (T17725) Temporary Road Closure and No Waiting – Park Corner / Nettlebed, B481 Park Corner 9th – 14th July

STRAFFIC REGULATION NOTICE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, that the Oxfordshire County Council

TEMPORARILY PROHIBITS THE USE OF AND WAITING ON THE HIGHWAY BY ALL MOTOR VEHICLES

LOCATION: Park Corner / Nettlebed, B481 Park Corner (between the junction with A4130 High Street at Nettlebed and the junction with Coates Lane at Cookley Green)

REASON: To facilitate resurfacing of the carriageway and subsequent reinstatement of all lines and road markings

DURATION: Starting on 09 July 2026 The anticipated completion date is 14 July 2026 (date included).
This will operate between 20:00 and 06:00 (Traffic Regulation Notices cover a maximum of 5 consecutive days.)

ACCESS: limited access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for frontages within the closed section of road, subject to the progress of the works. Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians.

The “No Waiting” restriction means that wherever there are in place yellow “No Waiting” cones, you will not be able to park vehicles on the highway.

SUGGESTED ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Traffic will be diverted from Nettlebed, southeast along A4130 to Lower Assendon, to turn north along the B480 passing through the villages of Stonor and Pishill continuing into Patemore Lane, to turn back south on the B481 Red Lane returning to Cookley Green on the far side of the closure, and vice versa.
